Cardiology Decision Support

Three clinician-facing tools in one page. AF, PREVENT/Pooled Cohort risk, and device calculations run locally in the browser; entered values are not intentionally transmitted by this plugin.

Clinical use: Decision support only. Confirm indications against current guidelines, reversible causes, patient goals, prognosis, and specialist judgment.
ATRIAL FIBRILLATION

CHA₂DS₂-VASc + HAS-BLED

CHA₂DS₂-VASc
0 / 9
Stroke-risk score
HAS-BLED
0 / 9
Bleeding-risk score

Age

CHA₂DS₂-VASc

Age contributes 0 points.

HAS-BLED

Age >65 contributes 0 points.

Interpretation: HAS-BLED ≥3 flags patients for closer review and correction of modifiable bleeding risks; it should not by itself be used to deny anticoagulation.
PRIMARY PREVENTION

PREVENT™ + Pooled Cohort Risk

Browser-based implementation of the PREVENT base equations with optional comparison to the 2013 ACC/AHA Pooled Cohort Equation and the 2018 revised PCE. PREVENT estimates 10- and 30-year risk; PCE estimates 10-year ASCVD risk.

Clinical inputs

Eligibility / clinical caution: PREVENT is intended for primary-prevention adults ages 30–79 without known cardiovascular disease. Do not use in established CVD, severe subclinical CVD, end-stage kidney disease, or limited life expectancy. This implementation uses the PREVENT base model; optional HbA1c, UACR and SDI extensions are not applied.

Implementation reference: preventr 0.12.0 (MIT), implementing the AHA PREVENT equations and Pooled Cohort Equations. Results should be confirmed against an authoritative calculator before a treatment decision when clinically material.

IMPLANTABLE DEVICES

Cardiac Device Selector

Enter the pertinent clinical data. The tool returns the highest-priority device pathway supported by the entered information, plus reasons, cautions, and alternatives.

Core clinical data
Bradycardia / pacing
ICD / sudden-death prevention

CRT / AF considerations
ILR / ICM diagnostic pathway

QTc + HR/RR Calculator

Enter HR or RR, then enter QT. Results update automatically.

QT Correction
— ms
Enter QT and either HR or RR.
HR/RR: RR = 60,000 ÷ HR   |   HR = 60,000 ÷ RR
Bazett: QTc = QT ÷ √RR
Fridericia: QTc = QT ÷ RR1/3
Framingham: QTc = QT + 0.154 × (1 − RR)
Hodges: QTc = QT + 1.75 × (HR − 60)
RR is expressed in seconds for QT correction equations.
Educational/clinical calculation aid. Verify ECG measurements and calculated values before using them for patient-care decisions.
